The guidebook is an improved and
revised third re-edition of the original book that
first came out in 2001 and was re-published in 2006.
This new edition introduces information on all new
amendments to the Freedom of Conscience Act,
presidential edicts, executive orders and other
legal acts related to the subject of religion. The
book also provides the most information about
case-law of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts of
the Russian Federation as well as the European Court
of Human Rights.
